Offering both full and half day camps for all levels of riders. You're sure to have fun riding and making friends at any age! Bannon Woods Farm is a Kentuckiana Girl Scout approved site and has camp sessions running weekly.

 

Campers ride daily, partake in interactive and educational activities and crafts, learn about different breeds of horses as well as the many different disciplines of riding all while making memories and finding new friends.

Spring Break Camp

April 4th - April 8th 

(8am-4pm Monday through Friday)

Drop off starts at 7:30 am

 

This camp is for anyone ages 8-16 that loves horses. We will introduce students to the subjects of horse care, safety, feeding, tack care, basic terminology, arts/crafts and riding.  The camp is designed with the Girl Scout Horse Fan and Horseback Rider badges in mind.  Both boys and girls are permitted.

 

($300 per camper)

Summer Camp Level 1

June 20th - June 24th

June 27th - July 1

July 25th - July 29th FULL

 

(8am-4pm Monday through Friday)

This camping experience is centered toward novice horsemen and horsewomen. A full day jam packed with riding, demonstrations from guest educators and fun games that help campers learn the ins and outs of the horse world. 

($350 per camper)

Summer Camp Level 2

June 6th - June11th

June 13th - June 18th

July 18th - July 23rd

 

8am-4pm - Monday - Thursday

Friday from 8:00am, overnight stay until Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. prompt.

 

Our Level Two camp is geared for returning campers, lesson takers and the more advanced rider. Campers continue their equine education through games, guest speakers, activities and even learn a different style of riding.

 

Participants have the option to spend the night with the horses on Friday evening.

 

($350 per camper)

WHAT TO KNOW

We ask that Campers wear long pants or jeans for riding(they may bring shorts to wear once riding has been completed) and wear a closed toe shoes with a small heel (hiking boots are acceptable. No tennis shoes). All campers must bring a lunch and we recommend bringing plenty of water/Gatorade.
